Herb Scott August has taught photography in central NJ since 2006 focusing on demystifying professional consumer-level cameras.  He’s traveled all over the United States, focusing on nature and wildlife subjects in our National Parks and National Wildlife Refuges with a focus on photographing birds.  His passion can be directly attributed to his days volunteering for The Raptor Trust in Millington, NJ, under the direction of Len Soucy.

Herb Scott currently resides in central New Jersey with his wife and two children.  While his day job is working for the State of NJ in an environmental office, he also works as a freelance event photographer in the New York metropolitan area.
